Dec 22, 2020 ExQuilla allows Thunderbird users to read messages and contacts on Microsoft Exchange Server version 2007 and later. It uses the EWS protocol and requires EWS to be enabled on your email server and domain. ExQuilla is a paid addon and requires a paid license. Keeping ExQuilla working with future Thunderbird versions is a lot of work and ongoing. Thunderbird can sync email with Exchange through IMAP, assuming IMAP is enabled on the server. Thunderbird does not natively sync contacts or calendar with Exchange. Over the years add-ons have been released that use the Exchange Web Services (EWS) interface for these categories of data.
Solution – install the ExQuilla for Microsoft Exchange and Exchange EWS Provider Add-Ons. ExQuilla connects email and contacts, Exchange EWS Provider connects the calendar.
